Message from the Boosters.
The LHS Band Boosters will be hosting the annual Band Spectacular on Saturday, September 19th. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The money earned from this event pays for uniforms, buses to away events, and many other things that are not budgeted for by the county. Hundreds of volunteers are needed to make this event the success we need it to be. We need for every band member to get at least one family member, friend, or neighbor to give at least one hour of their time on this day. The main areas of need are set-up, clean-up, and especially concessions. You DO NOT need a Food Handler's card to work in most areas of the concession stand. Please call RONA BLAND @ 304-623-3578 to get on the concession stand schedule. If you would like to help with set-up, please be at Hite Field at 9:00am that day. Stop by and see where you would be the most help. If you would like to help with clean-up, stick around after the spectacular and pitch in anywhere you see the need. We will have a smooth running event if everyone will do their part to help the band out. We really appreciate any and all help that you can offer for this day. THANK YOU!
